About Engage Combat Training
At Engage Combat Training, we believe martial arts should be challenging, welcoming, and rewarding. We offer Muay Thai, Wrestling, Boxing, MMA, and fitness programs for kids, teens, and adults. Whether you’re stepping onto the mats for the first time or preparing for competition, our experienced coaches are here to help you build confidence, improve your fitness, and learn real-world skills in a positive environment.

Beginner-Friendly Classes
Children may begin Youth Muay Thai as young as 4 years old when they are able to follow instruction and participate safely. Youth Wrestling classes begin at age 5.
Every child is welcome, regardless of experience level.

The coaches in this section are all Engage trained. They were selected because they exhibit the spirit of what we are trying to accomplish at Engage: Discipline, Respect, Work Ethic, and Positive Environment.

Head Coach
Christopher Manzo
Coach Chris brings the discipline and structure to Engage. Over 20 years of coaching experience and 14 years of competition experience. Don't judge to harshly, he has been retired from competition for 12 years but still stays up on current trends and makes sure that training methods and techniques that are constantly evolving are part of the cirriculum.

Boxing
Xavier
Coach Xavier shows an enthusiasm for coaching that is unparalleled. He is an active amateur fighter that still spends time training all week. He is a dedicated martial artist who has years of training in boxing. He is an intermediate level instructor that teaches the basics of boxing including footwork and conditioning.

Kickboxing
Richard Romero
Coach Richard Romero is a life-long martial artist with a background in Taekwondo and Muay Thai. His training journey started as a youth and has been going on his whole life. He has competion experience and loves to share that with those he mentors.

Youth Wrestling
Ethan Fernandez
Coach Ethan has been training in wrestling, Muay Thai, submission grappling, and MMA most of his life. He is a devout Christian who brings his patience and understanding to the coaching arena. Coach Ethan has competition experience he uses to guide the leaders of tomorrow.

MMA/Wrestling
David Hernandez
David is a Marine Corps veteran. He was the assistant coach for a high school team for 2 years. He competes in Muay Thai and MMA. Since he has several younger siblings, he has learned patience and how to help kids. David is also an active amateur fighter.

Muay Thai
Phillip Bailon
Phillip is an undefeated fighter who trains for the spirituality and technical side of combat. MMA, Muay Thai, and submission grappling are all disciplines he is versed in. His unique coaching approach is popular and well-liked. You will catch him at the gym a lot and feel free to book a session with him.
